This policy explains how LFR Resonance Systems LTD (“LFR”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use this website or contact us.

Who we are
LFR Resonance Systems LTD is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and through direct enquiries sent to us.
- Registered office: 41 Braeburn Way, Bedford, England, MK43 0EH
- Company number: 16517511
- Email: info@lfrfrequency.com
What data we collect
We aim to collect only what is necessary.
- Website technical data. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may process server logs that can include IP address, browser type, referring page, request time, and pages viewed. This is used for security, availability, and basic operational monitoring.
- Email correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address, message content, and any information you choose to include.
- Business contact and prospect data. If you contact us, request a report, join a customer conversation, or are listed as a relevant business contact, we may process your name, work email address, job title, organisation, role, public business profile, and notes about the enquiry or relationship.
- Asset-holder and project context. For energy, grid, BESS, finance, battery, or infrastructure enquiries, we may process non-personal operational identifiers such as BM Unit IDs, asset names, project names, organisation names, role in relation to an asset, and public company metadata. If any of this identifies a person, we treat it as personal data.
- Dataset observation enquiries. If you discuss a scoped dataset observation package, we may receive business contact details and technical metadata about a dataset. Any actual dataset transfer, retention, confidentiality terms, and processing role are agreed separately before non-public data is received.
- Cookies and local storage. See our Cookie notice. We do not use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies on the public site at the date of this policy.
How we use personal data
- To operate, secure, and maintain the website (legitimate interests).
- To respond to enquiries and, where agreed, deliver observation packages (contract or pre-contract steps / legitimate interests).
- To manage business relationships, prospect lists, report requests, and follow-up conversations with organisations that may have an interest in our observation services (legitimate interests, or consent where required).
- To prepare public-data snapshots, sample reports, and scoped client deliverables where a customer or prospect provides an asset identifier or business context (contract, pre-contract steps, or legitimate interests).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Where business contact data may come from
Business contact data may be provided directly by you or your organisation. It may also come from public professional sources such as company websites, public registers, business directories, event attendee context, referrals, or public professional profiles. We do not knowingly collect personal data from private consumer sources for business development.
Marketing and business development
We may contact business representatives about LFR services where we believe there is a relevant professional interest and the law allows this. You can object to marketing or business-development contact at any time by emailing info@lfrfrequency.com.
Special category data
We do not intentionally collect special category personal data through this website or through public-data observation reports. Please do not send health, biometric, political, religious, or similar sensitive personal data unless a separate written scope has been agreed.
Sharing and processors
We use service providers to host and deliver the website, manage email, store business records, and prepare reports. At present this includes Netlify for static hosting and delivery. These providers process data on our instructions and only as needed to provide their services.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Some hosting or email infrastructure may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by our suppliers or otherwise permitted under UK data protection law.
Retention
- Server logs: retained according to our hosting provider’s operational retention, typically for a limited period unless needed for security investigation.
- Email correspondence: retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Business contact and prospect records: retained while there is an active or reasonably possible business relationship, and reviewed periodically. We remove or suppress records where there is no continuing purpose or where you object to further contact.
- Contract, invoicing, and engagement records: retained as needed for legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Dataset observation work: retention is defined in the agreed scope for each engagement.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may have the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or data portability, depending on the circumstances. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise your rights, contact info@lfrfrequency.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
