The dataset metadata identifies the license as CC BY 4.0: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. Metadata checked on 18 September 2026. The data author does not endorse this case.

LFR selected and re-presented four already retained records, drew the figures, and computed the explicitly partial current integrals. The dataset author's paper conclusions are not evidence for the claims made here.

Scope and provenance

The record IDs (#130, #198, #222, #276) are this analysis's chronological identifiers, not BMS command IDs. Publisher operation coordinates:

R1–R9 are the retained rack positions, not independently verified lifetime hardware identities. These records were selected after inspecting a query over 324 already-open records. No representativeness, blind validation or complete physical history is claimed. No temperature, SOH, control command, per-cell measurement or unopened-period measurement is included.

Reproducing the presentation

records.json.gz contains four operations and nine members each. I/V rows are [milliseconds from the record-container start, value, retained source index]. SOC events keep their native timestamp and source index. Times use the dataset's native recorder coordinate; no timezone or common physical onset is asserted.

The figures scatter every retained displayed I/V point and every in-container SOC event in this packet. They do not resample or align the channels into a simultaneous state. Both panels of each figure share time and channel scales. Colors identify racks, not condition grades.

The packet's Ah ledger preserves each interval endpoint, source index, segment number and integrated flag. To reproduce its signed integral, traverse adjacent retained current points in time order. Integrate only positive intervals <=5000 ms, linearly between their endpoint values; divide A·ms by 3,600,000 for Ah. Split an interval at its linear zero crossing. Accumulate negative area as charge-in, positive area as discharge-out, and their sum as throughput. Do not fill longer intervals, prefixes or suffixes. Start each rack at its own first retained current point. A new segment follows each unsupported interval; do not draw a line across it.

member_summary.csv has 36 rows. It retains first/last reported SOC and source timestamps, last-SOC age relative to container end, charge/discharge subtotals, internal omitted time, unsupported ends and time-support fraction. No estimate of charge in omitted intervals is provided. Raw numerical precision is preserved for reproduction, not claimed measurement accuracy.

For a pair, match like rack IDs. Compare the maximum first-SOC difference, relative container-duration difference, and maximum relative throughput difference across the nine same-rack comparisons. Relative difference is 2|a−b|/(a+b). Query tolerances were <=2 percentage points, <=5%, <=5%, respectively. Case #130/#198 was selected by the reader; #222/#276 was a previously inspected query example. Outcomes are not a new statistical finding or a negative-control-qualified causal effect.

Reuse

Keep the source credit, plotted-record scope, gap treatment and claim boundary with any reuse of these figures. Do not present the Ah subtotal as capacity, container time as physical onset, last SOC as synchronized end state, or the case as a BMS performance benchmark. Public website layout is a separate rendering of this content; no internal workspace paths or review artifacts are part of the reader package.

This case establishes only the stated differences among four retained record paths. No continuity pattern or causal difference is established.

General observatory boundary, not an additional result of this case

Observation/measurement layer only. Not SOH, not RUL, not safety, not fault, not remaining-life, not warranty/underwriting/investment advice. It shows response-organisation continuity patterns visible in the named channels. Material-mechanism interpretation requires independent physical evidence (EIS / teardown / reference electrode / imaging).
