Authorised counterparty review
Questions to ask before relying on a public interpretation
The counterparty pack separates what public sources directly record from what only the owner, operator, optimiser, meter agent, or contract record can resolve.
No conduct conclusion. A public inconsistency is not evidence of fault, non-performance, misrepresentation, or wrongdoing.
Identity
Are the records about the same operational object?
Confirm BMU, EIC, meter, project, operator, owner, and service identifiers before comparing channels.
Time
Were the sources mature on the same as-of date?
Record settlement delay, revision, outage publication, registry freshness, and requested observation windows.
Scope
Does absence from one lens have another public explanation?
Check metering, contracted services, declarations, outages, and market scope before labelling absence.
Resolution
Who holds the evidence that can answer?
Direct each unresolved question to the minimum authoritative owner, operator, optimiser, meter, or contract record.
