Method before interpretation
A public record is a real trace, but only within the observational capability of the process that produced it. The method preserves that boundary before combining channels.
Collect without interpreting
Archive source payloads with URL, retrieval time, requested window, status, file hash, and source licence.
Register observational capability
For every channel, record what physical or institutional relation it projects, its temporal grain, publication lag, revision behaviour, identity key, and known blind spots.
Freeze definitions
Specify windows, unit mappings, normalisation, thresholds, and derived fields before reading the result.
Derive within the lens boundary
Calculate cadence, volume, diversity, gaps, declarations, metered presence, and cross-lens alignment without upgrading them into internal-condition claims.
Run correction and maturity audits
Check whether another lens changes the interpretation, and whether each source is mature enough for the same as-of date.
Publish observation and non-claim together
Every public result carries its date, scope, method version, source basis, unresolved gaps, and what cannot be inferred.
